ISO 9001:2015 is the latest version of the ISO 9001 standard. It was released in September 2015. All organizations which in ISO 9001:2008 version need to convert to the new version to stay competitive.
The 2015 version are based on high-level structure which will commonly be implemented to all new ISO standard. It is easier for organizations to do integration with other management system. Besides, the new version also emphasizes more on risk planning and leadership of an organization.
Our company is certified to ISO 9001:2008, what we should do?
All organizations is given 3 years transition period effective from the publication date of ISO 9001:2015. By end of September 2018, all organizations needs to fully transit to the 2015 version. You can start planning for the transition before your certification dateline.
